The Health Adventure, founded in 1968, is Asheville’s valued family health and science attraction. The Health Adventure features two levels of hands-on exhibits a traveling exhibits gallery and lively programs that strive to improve health awareness, promote wellness lifestyles, and boost science literacy.
Accredited by the American Association of Museums in 1985, The Health Adventure is also a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers, the NC Museums Council, and the Southeastern Museums Conference.
